The challenge
Freshfields came to Teksmart® looking for a signage solution for their corporate training days. They wanted a robust, functional suite of screens that were easy to upload in order to keep clients up-to-date with seminar details on the day and throughout the month, and let them know what guest speakers were due to appear.
There were other drivers too. Freshfields wanted to cut admin and paper wastage. Most of all, they wanted to make life easier for their seminar attendees. They described how they wanted to be able to guide attendees easily around the site. A set of generic signs wouldn’t have worked as the locations were all temporary, so they knew they needed temporary way-finding screens that could be adapted for different locations.
The solution
Three screens were needed to guide attendees from reception to a waiting area and then on to the seminar room. Teksmart® allocated three 47” Freestanding Displays in black, all with digital signage software to help the organisers schedule different content throughout the day.
Because the software is so easy to use and update, Freshfields use these screens on a daily basis. They upload content at 9.00am, beginning with a ‘Welcome’ message followed by the day’s schedule. When lunch time comes around attendees can study the lunch menu on the screens too. And a ‘Goodbye’ message rounds off the day.
Result
Freshfields were delighted with the results. First and foremost, they knew that their attendees were up-to-date and informed on times, dates, locations and speakers. They were also pleased to reduce the amount of paper they had been using – the on-screen displays eliminated the need to give out multiple paper schedules.
Additionally the ease with which they are now able to update their displays means they can change content with a click of a button. No more waiting for printers to run off hundreds of copies!
