We’ll ask for your name, address, telephone number and email address to help us process your orders. Later, we might let you know if we’ve got any new products that we think you’ll be interested in. But you can tell us when you make your order or enquiry if you don’t want any further information from us. Or you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can take you off our database.
Protecting private information
Under the UK Data Protection Act we have a responsibility to store your personal information safely. That also means we won’t disclose any of your information to third parties. Another safeguard: if you make an order and then get in touch with an enquiry, we will ask for proof of your identity before we divulge any information about your order.
What about non-disclosure?
We will only ever pass on any customer information if we are required by law to do so. To date, this has never happened.
What about site tracking?
Site tracking helps us monitor the visitors to our website. It’s a useful way for us to see which website pages and products are attracting the most interest at any given time. That information can helps us to make our website better – giving customers more of what they want to see. It may also feed into our product development process.
Don’t worry. We don’t capture any of your personal information, just how long each site visit is and what pages are being viewed.
Do we need your consent?
It makes using the web easier if sites assume that visitors have no objections to tracking information being taken as described above. But if you do have any objections, please just let us know.
